Self-Reflection

Outfit of a black top, pale yellow pants, and a beaded vintage bag

Sometimes I can feel uninspired with the clothes that I have.
Or uninspired with coming up with things to write on here,
outfits to shoot or with design work. And this past year has
been interesting. I’ve been blogging for a little over a year
now. So far I’ve enjoyed my time blogging. However, I do feel

like I could have been way more consistent with posting over
the course of the year. But besides that, I still think it’s
pretty crazy how I can actually call myself a blogger. I didn’t
think I could or would ever do this. As I think back to the
summer of 2013 when I first came up the idea of The No.17 (that
was the name I chose at the time and stuck with it for years) it
was just an idea that I never thought would become a reality.

I mean, I’m still a small blogger but it doesn’t matter if
10, 100, or 1,000 people are reading my blog, I still enjoy
blogging and shooting different looks. I’m still getting started
but a little self-reflection is always good. Plus I have exciting
things that I’m looking forward to work on.
Getting back to what’s more relevant in this post.
Everything (except the shoes) that I’m wearing here is vintage.
I like to mix the new with the old and show what I came up with.
Which is why I began this blog in the first place.
