There’s no better way to wear a skirt or dress and keep it
relaxed than to throw on some sneakers. I’ve worn this long
pleated skirt before here in this post and have been
wearing it out a bit too. I like wearing skirts with sneakers
when I’m going for a more casual look and when I know I’ll
be doing a lot of walking.
These patent block heel shoes are a favorite of mine. Which
is odd because a few years ago I wouldn’t have worn anything
patent, especially shoes. I didn’t think I could pull it off.
And when I wear these shoes, I almost always wear this bag too.
If you knew me personally, you’d know that I can be a bit cheap thrifty when I shop for new clothes. I tend to buy my
clothes from vintage/thrift shops. I’ve been doing this
for a few years now and it has saved me a lot of money.
If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been wearing a lot of
turtlenecks as of late. This one is comfortable and suitable
to wear on its own, even on those really chilly days. I would
call what I’m wearing here my fall uniform. Plus I feel relaxed
and comfortable in this,
I’m having a patent party again with this shoe and bag
combination. I just about always pair these two together.
I’m liking it paired with this dark green turtleneck
too. I bought these pointed-toe block heel shoes a
little over a year ago and I like the way they look.
For some reason, this look gives me Parisienne vibes.
French girl style has been popularized for a while, and
I can understand why. It’s effortless, yet still pulled
together. I try to aim for effortless style as well when
I come up with/style a look.
During this time of the year, the weather is the best for me.
It’s not too hot to wear a turtleneck and not too cold to wear
slides. Plus I can wear layers again. I’m wearing a pair of my
favorite jeans that I hope to come across some more of because
these are the only ones I have that are flared. And the bell
sleeve blouse that I finally got around to wearing.
This long pleated skirt is a bit different from what I
usually wear. I don’t own any skirts quite like this.
It kind of reminds me of the skirts I used to wear in
elementary school. Which I loathed wearing.
